Matthew 16:15-16
15 Jesus said to them,“But who do you say that I am?
16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
That is the question we all will answer one day. Who do you say Jesus is? There will come a day when
each of us will account for our actions. It says in Philippians 2:5-11 that in the Last Days every knee will
bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. Jesus humbled himself coming from heaven and
taking the form of a man. He gave his own life so that we might be saved. Read John 3:16-18. If you have
answered that question and accepted the gift of salvation then you may receive the reward of eternal life
with Christ in heaven. If you have not, then the result is eternal damnation. I challenge you now to confess
Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Live a life of surrender with the One who will never leave you or
forsake you. The One who wants more for you than you could ever hope of dream. Accept His gift before
it is too late.
What Will You Leave
Makes you think of when you die, right? Maybe something else. This came to me several years ago when
I was filling in for the Youth Pastor at my little church. I'll be honest, I was nervous. I've generally been a
behind the scenes kind of person but the need was there. God brought this phrase to my mind. I knew He
wasn't talking about when I die necessarily but wherever I go. When I leave a restaurant, the grocery
store, my job, etc., I leave an impression or a “mark” per say. Does the cashier, waitress, coworker think
of me as a slob? Possibly a rude person? Or even better as a kind person that made someone feel special
even for a few moments. Did they see me as different? The kind of different that they want to be. The
Bible talks about being set apart. Being strong and courageous. Being BOLD in our faith and making
disciples of ALL men.
Go out and BE BOLD! Leave behind the love of Christ. Make them want what you've got.
